The Molières Festival Committee created its theatre festival, ‘Molières en scène’, in 2009, with the aim of bringing theatre to everyone, supporting actors, creativity and the importance of culture everywhere, including in rural areas. It has gained renown and an audience, and is eagerly awaited every second weekend in September.

The shows are sought out and selected by the eight passionate volunteers of the Festival Committee throughout the year. They are performed by professional or amateur companies, local or otherwise, who, like the audience, love to share and enjoy together the joy offered by live performance.

Our evening event on 13 September is open to everyone!

We hope to see many of you there for drinks and nibbles, followed by a traditional and pop-folk concert by Manyl EtCie, and finally some dancing on the dance floor.

Admission is €5 per person and free for children under 12.

The Bastides Dordogne Périgord Community of Municipalities is organising the Canal Festival for the first time, a major family event that will take place along the Lalinde Canal from 19 to 21 September 2025. For three days, the communes of Mauzac, La Guillou, Lalinde, Baneuil, Port-de-Couze and Saint-Capraise-de-Lalinde will offer a rich and varied programme combining culture, heritage, nature and conviviality. Activities for all: culture, sport, heritage and gastronomy.

On the programme: creative workshops, exhibitions, visits to the Mauzac dam, open-air painters, a giant picnic, and more.

European Heritage Days. On the programme in the Bergerac region: guided tours (often free) of fortified towns, villages, Bergerac, museums, small heritage sites, exhibitions, demonstrations... Lots of exceptional events not to be missed!

An event not to be missed! On the weekend of 20 and 21 September, come and celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Old Bridge in Bergerac.

To mark the occasion, a free light fountain show will delight young and old alike on Saturday 20 September.

On the programme:

•  Local drinks tasting with our producers in attendance
•  Photo booth so you can leave with memories to last a lifetime
•  DJ & crazy atmosphere to get the dance floor pumping
•  Surprises, fun and a more than festive atmosphere

We're going to set the place on fire to mark the occasion as it should be.
