Châteaux en Fête returns for its 6th edition from 11 April to 3 May 2026!

This year, the event runs for three weeks and brings together 110 châteaux in the Dordogne, including 29 new châteaux to discover.

Across the region, 11 châteaux are opening their doors for unique tours and events.

This spring, the members of the Bienvenue à la ferme Dordogne Périgord are opening their doors to you. This will be an opportunity to exchange, discover their daily lives and share convivial moments for young and old.

Discover their products and the passion of their profession through various activities: Farm visits, tastings, workshops, various animations...

Ten farmers open their doors in the Dordogne for warm and enriching encounters. Behind each product is a dedicated farmer, a woman or a man who will be happy to share their knowledge and the background of their farm with you.

On May 1st, people eat an omelette with “aillet” (young garlic cloves), a lively tradition in the south of the department. The town of Bergerac keeps the traditions of the Périgord alive. Whether you prefer the town centre, a lively atmosphere or a particular neighbourhood – here are the four best places to enjoy the famous omelette à l’aillet: 

Many other villages in the Bergerac region will be serving omelettes: from Eymet to Lamonzie-Saint-Martin, via Lanquais and Prigonrieux, and Saint-Agne, to name but a few.

The Fêtes de Saint-Georges is back ! 

Join us from Thursday 30 April for the opening of the fairground attractions.

On the programme:

• Saturday evening: fireworks display
• Sunday morning: fishing competition on the quays
• Monday afternoon: Saint-Georges cycle races, Mondoux district

The Bergerac Games Festival is completely free and offers over a hundred new games to discover, as well as a wide range of stalls for all ages, including wooden games, family and expert board games, collectible card games, role-playing games and more…

Join us for the 5th edition of the ‘Art-Tak’ Street Art Festival on 14, 15 and 16 May 2026 at the Jardin Perdoux.

Three days dedicated to urban creativity, featuring demonstrations, artistic performances, workshops, concerts and entertainment.

The Monpazier Crafts & Arts Fair returns for its 17th edition from 14 to 17 May 2026. Having been held in the bastide for the past eight years, the event has established itself as a major highlight for lovers of creativity and craftsmanship.

An evening brimming with emotion for the 7th CONVERSATIONS at the Domaine de La Valette. Roots and a Choir: a meeting between a brilliant, world-renowned composer and a group of friends from the Périgord who sing of their land and its traditions. Occitan music and songs as hymns to simple, shared values.  Followed by a meal featuring local produce to celebrate a third half-time that’s not quite like any other!

For the second year running, ‘Concerts à la ferme’ is coming to three farms in the Périgord, inviting residents of the department to three concerts held on the farms themselves in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The second concert will take place on Friday 15 May at 8 pm at the Domaine de Barbe in Badefols-sur-Dordogne, with a farm tour and food available on site from 6 pm.

Come along and join Jazz Pourpre in celebrating the 22nd edition of the Festival – the line-up is exceptional, as always!

Over 10 days, from 22 to 31 May, 27 concerts and 140 musicians will take you on a breathtaking journey through the vast world of jazz. 

The highlight of the 2026 Jazz Pourpre Festival in Périgord will take place, as usual, on Place Gambetta on Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May, with concerts of all kinds from 11 am to 11.30 pm.

The gourmet market and its restaurateurs await you in the heart of the Village des Artisans et Créateurs des Métiers d'Art.

The 9th edition of the FÊTE DES BÂTONS on Sunday 24 May 2026 in Saint Laurent des Bâtons (24510 – Val de Louyre et Caudeau). A day of non-stop fun, from 10 am to midnight, celebrating sticks, trees, wood and, this year, Portugal.

The Lamonzie-Saint-Martin Festival Committee is delighted to invite you to a convivial and gourmet occasion featuring a delicious mussels and chips meal!
