Organised by the Ministry of Culture, the ‘Rendez-vous aux jardins’ aims to highlight the richness and diversity of gardens in France and Europe, to encourage dialogue between stakeholders in the horticultural sector and the public, and to raise visitors’ awareness of the many measures taken to preserve, restoration and design of gardens, the transfer of specialist knowledge, and the training of gardeners and landscape gardeners.

Private and public gardens of all styles, from the most extensive parks to the humblest of small gardens – whether historic, newly laid out, kitchen gardens, plant conservatories, exotic collections or even therapeutic gardens … – are all the result of human passion, constant and careful maintenance, and a legacy of expertise that must be preserved and passed on to future generations.

A true awakening of the senses in the heart of spring, the ‘Rendez-vous aux jardins’ invites young and old, newcomers and enthusiasts alike to discover the richness and diversity of our green heritage every year.

The town of Bergerac is hosting the 5th edition of its theatre festival, ‘Bergerac en Scène’. For a whole weekend, the squares and streets of the old town will be transformed into veritable stages for the performing arts. Twenty-three professional and amateur companies, renowned at both regional and national level, will share their passion for theatre with the audience. 

On 13 June, the Lalinde Festival Committee is hosting its big beer festival:

• A craft market running all day and into the evening
• An exhibition and displays of classic cars and motorbikes running all day and into the evening
• Food stalls, a refreshment bar and – of course – our brewers

To round off the day in style and with plenty of entertainment, the Lalinde Festival Committee is offering mussels and chips as well as food trucks:

• Grilled ham – roast beef
• Les deux pattes en Périgord

All accompanied by a concert from the band Alchimie

The “Amis de la Peyrouse” are organising their traditional “Kermesse de la Peyrouse” festival on Sunday 14 June 2026. A wide range of activities awaits you (cultural walk, friendly game of boules, guided tour of the chapel).

After the winter break, Les Tricoteurs are back for the summer reopening of the community café ‘La Tricote’ in Saint Félix de Villadeix! 

On the programme for Friday 19 June:

• Opening of the community café with annual membership sign-ups: membership is compulsory to be able to enjoy refreshments at the community café – that’s the rule – but it costs just €2 a year… it helps cover some of the running costs (insurance, bank charges, overheads, etc.)
• From 7 pm, light refreshments will be available, including locally sourced hot dogs, seasonal raw vegetables and ice cream – something to delight everyone.
• For the Fête de la Musique, Alfabol and Co will be there to liven up this convivial occasion.

The Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix Hunting Club is organising the Fête de la Musique on Saturday 20 June 2026, from 7 pm, in La Motte Castrale.

The streets of Lalinde will come alive on Saturday 20 June for the Fête de la Musique!

With several bands performing and a variety of musical styles, it promises to be a great evening!

It’s actually next Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 6 pm: the 5th Beer Festival is taking place in the smallest bastide in the Dordogne!
