The Périgord night markets, also known as the Gourmet Markets, are a veritable institution in summer. Stroll through the streets and alleys of our region's charming villages, discovering local producers and their products while enjoying the long summer evenings.

Les nocturnes de l'été

This summer, guided tours will once again take place at nightfall. Four original dates are on offer to show the heritage in a new light:

Monpazier: The torchlight tour, an unmissable tradition where you can immerse yourself in the history of the bastide by the light of torches.
Beaumont-du-Périgord: The storytelling evening, where heritage and tales mingle for a lively and sensitive discovery of the Bastide.
Cadouin: The nocturnal Cluedo, an immersive investigation in the heart of the village and its abbey.
Lalinde: Le Défi du Gabarrier, a nocturnal hands-on game for young and old about the history of the Dordogne.

OPEN-AIR cinema

Discover open-air cinema in the Dordogne this summer with screenings at Château de Hautefort, Château de Biron, Bergerac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Bastides d'Eymet, Monpazier, Villefranche-du-Périgord... Enjoy films under the stars in emblematic locations or in the beautiful little villages of our beautiful department.

Screenings start at dusk (10 pm or 9.30 pm after 15 August)
For paid screenings, booking is recommended via the Ciné Passion application or the links below (possibility to buy seats on site).
In case of bad weather, an alternative room is available on site or nearby.

This year, as last year, the festival is hitting the road and coming to you!

From 24 July to 10 August, we invite you to join us for this great summer event!

This weekend, National Day, the Dordogne will be ablaze with a thousand and one bright colors. Below you will find the festivities and events planned for the national holiday, organized by day and geographical area.

Due to the drought, some events may be canceled by the municipalities until the last moment.

SUNDAY 13 JULY

Grand Périgueux

In Saint-Pierre-de-Chignac, the fireworks are set off at 11pm.
In Mensignac, for the Bread Festival, they are fired after the concert at 11:30 pm.

Vallée de l’Isle

In Mussidan, fireworks are shot from the Lagut barn at 11 pm.

Périgord vert

In Brantôme-en-Périgord, the fireworks are launched at 11 pm from the forecourt of the abbey.
In Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière, the fireworks are fired from the viaduct at 11 pm.
In Thiviers, they are fired from the town park at 11 pm.

Bergeracois

In La Force, the fireworks start at 10 pm on the Route de Bosset at Les Pradasques.
In Beaumontois-en-Périgord, the fireworks are set off between 10 pm and 11 pm at Place Polony.
In Biron, the fireworks are fired from the castle at 11 pm.

Périgord noir

In Bars, they are fired at 11 pm in the town.
In Le Bugue, they are fired at 10.30 pm on the banks of the Vézère.
In Saint-Geniès, they are shot at 11.30 pm in the village.
In Salignac-Eyvigues, they take place at 11 pm at the foot of the castle.
In Carlux, they are fired at 11 pm in the square in front of the fortress.
In Villefranche-du-Périgord, the firing takes place at 11 pm at the church.

MONDAY, JULY 14

Grand Périgueux

In Périgueux, they are fired at 11 pm from the quays on the banks of the Isle.
In Mensignac, they are fired after the Bread Festival concert at 10:30 pm.

Vallée de l’Isle

In Montpon-Ménestérol, firing takes place at 11 pm from the Chandos leisure center.
In Neuvic there is firing at 11 pm.
In Saint-Astier, there is shooting at 11 pm at the Petit-Pré.

Périgord vert

In La Roche-Chalais, the shooting will take place at 10.30 pm at the soccer stadium.
In Saint-Aulaye-Puymangou, it will be visible from the beach at 11 pm.
On the Place Beauvières in Ribérac, it will be fired at 11 pm.
In Bourdeilles, it will be fired at 11 pm on the town hall square.
In Nontron, it will take place at 11 pm on Place Paul-Bert.
In Miallet, they are fired at 11 pm.
In Jumilhac-le-Grand, it takes place at 11 pm in front of the castle.
In Excideuil, they are fired from the castle walls at 11 pm.

Bergeracois

In Bergerac, the fireworks display takes place at 10.30 pm at the port and on the Quai Salvette.
In Eymet, it takes place at 11 pm on the Bretou plain.
In Monpazier, the firing takes place at 11.30 pm on the Foirail.

Périgord noir

In Hautefort, they will be fired at 11 pm on the Etang du Coucou
In Terrasson-Lavilledieu, they will be fired at 10.30 pm on the city walls and the Vézère basin, accompanied by the sound and light installation “A century of music”.
In Montignac-Lascaux, it takes place at 11 pm on the banks of the Vézère.
In Les Eyzies, it takes place at 11 pm on the banks of the Vézère.
In Berbiguières, they are fired from the Garrit bridge between 22:30 and 23:00.
In Domme, it takes place on the Place de la Rode between 22:30 and 23:00.
In Sarlat-la-Canéda, they are fired from the Place du 19-mars-1962 at 11 pm.
